MCCF - What We Do

The Midlothian Community Care Forum exists to act as an effective and meaningful channel of communication for local service users and carers on issues to do with the planning and delivery of Community Care.

It seeks to represent interests, views and concerns of service users regarding Community Care to Midlothian Council, NHS Lothian and those who deliver services across Midlothian.

Share Information

Speaking Out

Across Midlothian, to Midlothian Council, the NHS, local councillors and communities, to represent the voice of service users.

Building Bridges

...of communication and open exchange between service users, Midlothian Council and NHS to raise awareness of important issues.

Newsletters

We produce four newsletters a year covering local and national updates, news and events in social care and health, as well as community news across Midlothian.

Supporting to Participate

Providing personal, physical and emotional support to individuals, to allow them to participate effectively in groups and meetings where their voice is of value.

Skills Training

Helping to identify and support individuals to participate in training and skills development opportunities, to help them be more confident and effective in representing their point of view.
